and fun was had by all

The last week has been so unimaginably crazy & chock-full of exciting goodies, I'll be gradually posting photo links for your sheer enjoyment! Last Thursday, 24 November, was our school's "Christmas Around the World", which is the screwed up theming and rearrangement of our cultural/heritage program, which my mother didn't think honoured God enough, so she forced it to be changed. REALIZE: not all cultures are Christian and God-Fearing. Anyhow, It was bloody freaking awesome, so here is a link to the album on Photobucket so you can get a glimpse at the awesomeness and wish you had been there so that you, too, could fathom the coolness and be part of it, SUCKER.

So today/tomorrow is my sister's birthday. Usually don't you like, put up a picture of the person or something, right. But the last photo I have of my sister is from Christmas 2004...quite a while ago, and it's really not that great. Wal-Mart photo studio, to be precise. Complete with snowy backdrop and teddybear props, so you get the picture. We all look really different now, so no picture will be provided.

Yeah, so what was i going to say....Oh yeah. Happy Birthday.....nothing much else I can say. Well actually there is, but I can't come up with it as I'm really not one for emotional displays. Like seriously, I'm not. I don't even do the whole hug-your-family-members-you-haven't-seen-in-a-year thing, it's very...eeeeeewwwww. Ask anyone, they'll tell you the war stories.

So yea. Happy Birthday, and that's that. If I were residing in the same country I could send a present or something or maybe a phonecall, but living halfway around the world it's just not going to work out.

I remembered this evening that sometime in the last or next 2 days you and Matt will have attended the Paul McArtney concert in Phoenix...God I hate you. Did Ringo show up? Did he? Did he? And you don't have any photos from the event either, do you, that whole "no photography' rule...it's a load of crap if you ask me. You should have a camera phone and sneaked a few pics!! That's what I'm gonna do in Paris, when I get into the Mona Lisa...use the camera in the mobile, and get a discreet snap here or there...booyah~
When is Matt's birthday? Pass my big hello...

Oh yeah, for my birthday my sis bought me a ticket to go to AZ and visit for a few days...sou-weet.

Warm Fuzzy Feelings

I did something slightly unusual, I went and cleared my log on Statcounter. You know, so I could engage in more stalker-esque activity while not having to shell out a single monetary unit. That's me, you know, cheapskate of the century. As well as other things I got very cheaply (like this wicked awesome desk I bought for 2 bucks complete with 2 chairs...and this other glass-top desk for 10 bucks...love my desk...) I can honestly say, I have never paid a penny for any of the cd's I own, movie-wise, software wise, or music-wise...and there's about 250+ cd's in that organizer thingy in my room....Don't believe me? I'll show you sometime...

So anyways, back to the warm fuzzy feelings/statcounter thing. Yeah. I was looking through it today to see just who reads this load of crap and where the hell on earth do they venture in from? In doing so, there's some interesting turnout:

--This guy listed me in an entry on his website, as one of the pages he checks for updates every day. EVERY DAY (And I was listed above George... =D )

--3 Pennsylvanian people stumbled across my wart-on-the-arse-of-the-internet site due to their search on msn.com for "Christian wifeswap", and then just plain "wifeswap". Must be Quakers or rebellious Amish, I reckon...I'm going with the rebelling Amish, sitting there in their outhouse surfing the net on that snazzy laptop...don't think I don't know all your little amish tricks...I'm all skool'd up in the game, yo.

--1 lonely surfer landed me in attempts of searching "celebrity official Deborah Holli", which I can't really figure what that's about...I'm a celebrity now? What? Will definatly investigate further.

Have you ever gotten yourself lost in the neverending bloggy world of uber-blogginess? Happened to me a few times, and don't say it's never happened to you because I know it has. You are leisurely plodding along (or zooming at intense supersonic rates that accompany anything higher than the shitass modem I am cursed to be using), reading the blogs of your fancy, and a link, usually to another blog, catches your eye. You click on it, and are brought to the new page. Upon entering that page, another link beckons you, so you give a clickity-click and enter it. Letting this happen to you numerous times in a row could lead to becoming lost in the blogginess of blogosphere. (Just had a flashback to that book
The Phantom Tollbooth...Like when they get lost and meet up with the whether/weather/wether dude...not sure i didn't finish the book for some reason, I think because i was in like 3rd grade...I'll do it later.)

For the last week, I've been off-again on-again cramming my skull full of God's Holy Book. Please, pick yourself up off the floor. Really? You too suffered a heart attack as did countless others upon hearing this news? Hold on, there's reason to this insanity. Cambridge AS Level Exam is on 22 November. I was being a good examinee (what?) and I read the syllabus. It told me to have a familiar knowledge of the four gospels. HOLY HELL. 4 gospels? 7 days? Me? The one who reads a page of the Bible and falls into a deep, deep sleep? Do they know what they are asking? I think not. Oh, the things I let my mother sign me up for. You know, just to clarify that I did not enter into this free willingly, my mother made me. And at a large sum of British Pounds per exam, I can't afford to fuck this up. And so, rigorous studying ensues. Studying the likes of which are never seen in my character, except for that last quearter of the year when Cambridge rolls around. Then all else if forsaken except the cramming of Cambridgidian knowledge into my ever expanding, already large head. Anyhow, back to the point. I would have posted more in the last 2 weeks, except that remember those 3 exams I signed up for? (General Essay, English Language, and Divinity) Those? Yeah. They were all within two weeks of eachother. So I've been eating, breathing, sleeping, dreaming (well actually, no, not dreaming about Cambridge) this non-stop for the past 3 weeks. I have the whole book of John, and half of Luke left to get through. In only 2 days. After that, I WILL BE FREEEEEEE!!!! Is it humanly possible to die of boredom? Like, really, is it?
